Jim has proven himself as a leader in all walks of his life and will continue to serve the citizens of District 30 as a second full term Council Member with experience, integrity, honesty, and fairness.

During his first full term on Metro Council, Jim served as Chairman for both the CODES and the PUBLIC WORKS Committees.  He also served as Vice Chairman for the RULES Committee, as well as serving on the Charter Revision, the Planning & Zoning and the Convention, Tourism & Public Entertainment Committees.

Jim has been described as a “voice of reason on the council” by both the City Paper and Vice Mayor Diane Neighbors.
